Armed officers were dispatched around 12:45 a.m. following emergency calls reporting three suspicious vehicles traveling through Gloucestershire toward the installation. Law enforcement intercepted the vehicles in the neighbouring village of Whelford, taking five suspects into custody on suspicion of committing offences under the Explosives Act and preparing an act of terrorism.
