Renewable energy was a focus at the forum. Information presented there said renewable sources produced about 98% of Tajikistan’s electricity, mostly from hydropower.
According to the forum report, renewable sources generated 8.5% of Kazakhstan’s electricity in the first nine months of 2026. Kazakhstan plans to add renewable capacity in the coming years. The agreements are intended to support closer commercial ties.
